2nd seed Berdych beats countryman
Tomas Berdych did not have much trouble progressing to the 2nd round, when he was up against his fellow countryman Lukas Rosol in his first match of the 39th ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament.
Berdych, who has started the 2012 season extremely well got a crucial break at 4-4 and served out the set 6-4.
In the second Rosol was not able to keep up as well as he did in the first, and Berdych seemed to be striking the ball well, making it hard for Rosol. Berdych rolled through the set, winning it 6-2, and is now ready for the 2nd round, where he faces Marcos Baghdatis in a potentially great encounter.
