Berdych passes Seppi to reach semifinals
The 2nd seed Czech started well with an early break. He quickly got on 5-2, and even though Seppi held his serve to go on 3-5, Berdych closed out the set 6-3. Berdych is clearly playing with huge confidence in Rotterdam, after an excellent start to the 2012 season, with a title in Montpellier as one of the highlights.
In the second set Seppi managed to do a little better. He recovered from an early break, just to see Berdych break again to lead 5-3. Seppi once again held his serve, but as confident as he served out the first set, as confident did he finish off the match with a solid service game.
Berdych is now through to the semis where he will face either Juan Martin Del Potro or Viktor Troicki, who will battle for the spot in Friday´s second quarterfinal.
