De Bakker ousted by Troicki
It all looked very good for De Bakker against the world´s number 24, Viktor Troicki. De Bakker had great opportunities to win the opening set, but made some crucial decisions. Troicki took the set 7-6.
A 5-2 lead in the tiebreak wasn´t enough for De Bakker. "I had the first set tiebreak, I should just have finished it. Then it all went very different. I missed all my opportunities in the first set", De Bakker said.
The second set went very fast. "I still had the first set in my head, and I gave away too many free points. He played well though, and I didn´t".
Troicki, who has been ranked as high as number 12 in the world, now faces another Dutchman, Jesse Huta Galung. He beat Ivan Ljubicic on the opening night, and is ready to cause another upset.
