Kohlschreiber: Tired, but satisfied

Philipp Kohlschreiber had problems with his stomach during the Davis Cup tie against Argentina in the past weekend. Therefore it was uncertain if the 28-year-old German would play at the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament. But he went on court against Marcel Granollers, and with success. Kohlschreiber beat the 8th seed Spaniard 6-1, 1-6, 6-4.

"I´m actually not quite fit", Kohlschreiber said, while finishing up on the exercise bike in the locker room. "Ì have given everything I had. The two quick sets were in my favor, and also the fact that he is a serve-volley player, so the points were short. I am tired, but satisfied. I´ll get a day off before the 2nd round match against Seppi".
