Troicki defeats last Dutchman
Huta Galung delivered a class performance, when he defeated Ljubicic in the first round. And he started well against Troicki. One of the most memorable moments came early, as the match´s second game lasted for 17 minutes.
The first set went to a tiebreak, and should Huta Galung have won the match, he should have won the tiebreak. But Troicki won it comfortably 7-2, and it seemed to give the Serb the confidence he needed to end the match in straight sets.
The second set was a quite convincing performance from Troicki, who grabbed an early break. He held on, and Huta Galung never managed to recover. The 7th seed Serb is now ready for the quarterfinals, where he joins four other seeds in Federer, Berdych, Gasquet and Del Potro. Troicki will face Del Potro in an interesting encounter, while Federer is up against Jarkko Nieminen. The last two quarterfinals are Berdych against Seppi, while Nikolay Davydenko faces 5th seed Richard Gasquet in the late evening match on Friday.
